Talk:Sony Handycam

I got DVD-DCR 610 Sony Webcam, it has USB connect, no firewire on WebCam. How can I import the captured image files from HandyCam over to Ubuntu Linux 8.10 64-bit laptop? The Laptop does have firewire port though.

Hello,

Frankly I've no idea. As you can see from my wiki page I never tried to get the camera connected to my linux box, I always rip the small DVD itself. -- Phil
