The goal is to get the Tomtom wired GPS unit working with a Linux laptop.

The antenna is said to comply with the NMEA-0183 data message standard and SiRF II binary data protocol

RJ-11 Pinout should be sth like:

1. NC
2. +5V
3. RX
4. TX
5. GND
6. NC

It's RS232 COM1 in XDA II

Attention: to check if it's TTL RS232 (0-5V) or plain RS232
